Bathynomus Giganteus

Ok, I don't want to create nightmares, but this animal is SO CREEPY I couldn't keep it to myself!!

Living at the bottom of the ocean, it attached itself to a submarine exploring the ocean floor and rose with the submarine.
I'll put a link for pictures, but it's pretty much like a two and a half foot long potato bug.... Don't look if you're squeamish!
